## Frequently asked questions
### What is RubricMark?
RubricMark is an end-to-end study and assessment platform with two connected sites. Educators mark essays, build rubrics, and plan lessons on mark.rubricmark.com. Learners practise tests, build a learning trajectory, and unlock skill milestones on rubricmark.com.

### Where is my data stored?
Your account data is stored in secure cloud storage in a region you can verify on your Account page. Each user has a private area; content is not mixed between accounts. We do not use your submissions to train public AI models.

### Who can see my essays or test responses?
Only you and the people you explicitly share with. Reports never leave your private folder unless you create a public link or email export. RubricMark staff do not browse user data — access is logged and gated by support requests you raise.

### What is free vs paid?
Every account gets a free tier with a small monthly allowance to try Build, Admin, and Mark. Paid plans unlock higher monthly marking and generation volumes. See Account → Billing for current tier limits and pricing.

## What RubricMark is not
- Not a full LMS replacement — export-first to Google Classroom, Canvas, and manaba
- Not autopilot grading — every score is teacher-signed before export
- Not essay-only — worksheets, scans, and admission portfolios on the same rubric spine
